For the 2018/2019 Season,we will working together with Liverpool Basketball Club (LBC) to develop basketball and co-operating particularly on an NBL Division 4 team (Liverpool Stars).

Sefton Stars Women will start preparations for next season in early 2019 again in conjunction with LBC to support thier junior girls programme.

Our Juniors and Community will also combine and play under LBC for this coming season.
All teams are playing their Home games at Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College.

At Xmas 2018, the NBL Division 2 team was top of the D2 Table, with 9 Wins from 9 games played.
Liverpool Stars were 3rd in the NBL Division 4 North Table, with 5 Wins from 8 games played; the U18’s were 4th in the NBL U18 North West Division, with 6 Wins from 8 games played; the U16’s were 2nd in the NBL U16 North West 1 Division, with 7 Wins from 8 games played and the U14’s were top in the NBL U14 North West 1 Division, with 8 Wins from 9 games played.
Our Facebook pages Sefton Stars and LBC will continue to provide updated details of of our proposed activities.

We believe that until Basketball is recognised in the UK as a spectator attraction as well as a participatory sport, facilities will continue to be provided without any consideration being

given to spectator accommodation and welfare. Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College our Home Court has spectator accommodatio.

We therefore encourage you to come and support all teams – not just the NBL Division 2 team, but the younger age-group teams as well. All the players appreciate spectator support, the more and louder the spectators

the better.

There is a spectator entrance charge for games involving the NBL Division 2 team, but there is no spectator entrance charge for other games.

Home games involving the NBL Division 2 team (and, when possible, the NBL Division 4 and U18 teams) will be streamed live on LBC,s You Tube channel under the Liverpool Basketball Live title.

Live-streams of current season NBL games will be available for catch-up viewing after having been re-named and possibly edited.
